So right off the bat, you can pick these mirrors up as a set, so the driver and passenger side, or they're also available individually. So let's say if you already have this type of mirror on your truck and maybe you busted one of 'em, you don't need a set, you can always pick 'em up single too. So whatever the case may be, you got a few different options. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Review - 2011 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be test-fitting K-Source's universal dual lens towing mirrors, part number KS3990. So as you can see here, I'm clearly in our factory mirror, but as I take a step towards the outside, I'm no longer visible, but I can still be seen in our universal towing mirrors. This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes and during parking maneuvers. This mirror's got two separate mirrors that are fully adjustable both horizontally and vertically. Each mirror has a different field of view. The larger mirror has a flatter face; it's going to give you a more accurate representation of what's behind you. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be test fitting K-source's universal towing mirrors, part number KS3891. You can also get these in a pair of two, with part number KS3891-2. So as you can see here, I'm clearly visible in our factory mirror, but as I take a step towards the outside, I'm no longer visible in the factory mirror, but I can still be seen in our universal towing mirror. This is going to be particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes, or during parking maneuvers.This convex mirror is going to give you a wide range of view to allow you to see much further out than you would normally in your factory mirror. It's going to be adjustable, both inward and outward, horizontally and vertically. The arms clip into place underneath your factory mirror and, while they're in, you can still maneuver your factory mirror and adjust it as you need to.And while they're installed, the breakaway function will still work, however your mirror may contact the glass. more

CIPA Clamp on Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado we're gonna be test fitting Cipa's clamp on towing mirror. Part number CM11980. Now as you can see here I'm clearly visible on our factory mirror but as I take a step towards the outside, I'm no longer visible on our factory mirror but I can still be seen in our universal towing mirror. This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes and during parking maneuver, and while your mirror's installed, your factory mirror is still fully adjustable and the breakaway will still work.Now it does get quite close to your window glass when doing so. This mirror will clamp on to the top of your factory mirror and the rubber feet on the clamps will prevent any scratches or abrasions and prevent it from sliding around. This is an entry level universal towing mirror. more

This is particularly useful when merging into the highway, changing lanes and during parking maneuvers.Each of the mirrors are individually adjustable both horizontally and vertically. Each has a slightly different shape. The larger mirror is gonna be flatter to give you a more accurate representation of what's behind you and the outside mirror is gonna be a little bit convex. That's gonna give it a slightly larger field of view.While our universal mirror is installed, we can still adjust our factory mirror. And the breakaway function still works, however it does come very close to your window glass. more

This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes, and during parking maneuvers.The mirror's adjustable both vertically, horizontally, and it can rotate into a horizontal or vertical position. While the mirror's installed you can still adjust your factory mirror however you'd like it, and the breakaway function will still work, however your mirror may contact the glass. The mirror's held on with rubber straps that go along the back side. What's nice about these is that they won't cause any scratches or abrasions to your mirror, and they're rubber so they're kind of non-skid so it'll hold it in place.This is your basic entry-level universal towing mirror. What's great about this is how quickly and easily it is to install. more

Then we're going to have the custom-fit style which is going to be specifically for our Silverado and then we're going to have a full replacement mirror, which again is going specifically for our Silverado.Our universal style is going to be great for the occasional use. It's going to be easier getting on and off and, since it is universal style, chances are it is going to fit several different vehicles. So, if you have a few different vehicles that you tow with, it might fit those as well.Now, the down side to it is that since it is a universal fit, sometimes they don't fit as well and you may get a little bit of vibration or some noise when you're going down the highway.Now most universal mirrors are going to use a strap of some kind to secure the mirror, this one's going to use clamps to clamp onto the mirror housing. more

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, and that's going to include the driver and passenger side, part number CM10900. Now if you only need the driver side you can use part number 10901. If you only need the passenger side you can use part number 10902. So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but you lose track of me if I step to the side. Now that's where our towing mirrors are going to come into play. Whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, back our trailer up, or even pull up to the camp ground this is going to give us an accurate, more safe view of what's next to us. Today in our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the K-Source custom extendable towing mirrors. These are for manual mirror applications and take care of the driver and passenger side. Part number is KS62077-78G. Now here's what our full replacement towing mirrors are going to look like installed. As you can see, we have the added benefit of a much larger mirror, plus we've got our spotter mirror here on the bottom, which it's going to be really really nice when it comes to towing. These are geared more towards your everyday towing situation or somebody that would do towing and hauling, either on a very regular basis or somebody that goes out camping a lot. These are going to prevent us from having to take off and put on our towing mirrors every time we want to go. more

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Cipa Custom Towing Mirrors Slip-Ons for the driver and passenger side, part number CM10900. These mirrors are designed to extend your field of vision and block out any blind spots that you might have while you're pulling your trailer. These mirrors are made out of a durable ABS plastic and they fit over your factory mirror, and they're designed not to interfere with the factory operation, and it has a manual outside mirror that you can change so you can see around the end of your trailer. It has a textured finish that's going to be just like your factory mirror and you can still fold your mirrors in with them attached. These mirrors feature an easy, tool free install, they just slip over your factory mirror. We're going to start with our driver's side mirror, the left side. The kit does come with two pieces of foam tape, one is square, one has got the corners knocked off. Before you put the tape on, you want to take a little bit of rubbing alcohol and clean the area it's going to fit in. The other one's going to fit right here so we'll clean that off at the same time. more

Today on our 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab, we're going to be doing a quick installation of the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, part number CM10880. Now this part number is for both the driver and the passenger's side. If you don't need a complete kit, these are also sold individually. For the passenger's side, that's part number CM10802 and for the driver's side it will be part number CM10801. Now to begin with, we've already gone ahead and installed the passenger's side mirror so you can see what it looks like. Now, we still have full function of our factory mirror because out here is our towing mirror, this is a manual mirror so you will need to move it by hand. Just simply slides over the top of your factory mirror. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2010 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on this 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab 2500 HD we're going to install part number KS3891. This is a K-Source Universal Towing Mirror. This is what the mirror looks like when it's installed on our truck. You can see how it connects to the edge of the factory mirror on the truck, and here's our extra mirror right here. It's on a ball socket and you can move it in any direction that you want. It's pretty tight but you can see that if I move this I'm actually moving a little bit of the truck mirror as well so it's nice and tight. more

K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2010 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on this 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cap 2500 HD, we're going to install part number KS80900. This is a K-source custom towing mirrors that snap on. Now this part number does cover the driver and passenger sides so you get 1 of each. We already have it installed on our passenger side mirror, you can see how it looks. It grips the mirror in 3 places on the top edge of the factory mirror truck and also along the bottom. Here's our towing mirror itself, it's on a ball socket so you can move around in any direction you want. more

Now we already have it installed on our truck so you can see how it looks like. I only need to spend a few minutes to show you how to install it. All right now a few of the things to know about our mirror. It's created from an all black plastic housing. We'll also give you the dimension of the towing mirror. Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab we're going to be doing a test fit of the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors in a slip on design for both the driver and the passenger side, part number CM10900. The CIPA custom towing mirrors are available to be purchased individually as well. For the driver side it's part number 10901. For the passenger side it's part number 10902. If your factory mirror looks like this, then this CIPA Custom Towing Mirror is correct for you. Before we install our mirror on our factory mirror it's a good idea to clean and dirt and debris off of the back side of the mirror that may be present. This will help keep the factory mirror from getting scratches on it from dirt rubbing between the factory mirror and the CIPA custom towing mirror. Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab were going to be doing a test fit of the K Source Universal Towing Mirror in a clip-on design, part number KS3891. Were going to stand here at the corner of the vehicle and you can see me in the factory mirror. Now all it takes is a couple steps to my left and you wont be able to see me anymore potentially where a car could be in your blind spot. But yet now if you look in the K Source towing mirror you can see me. Now Im standing about five feet away from the corner of the vehicle, essentially where a car would be in your blind spot. As you can see you can see much better behind your vehicle now and hopefully youll have a much better enjoyable and safer towing experience. Heres what our factory mirror looks like on our truck and heres what the K Source Universal Towing Mirror looks like. It has a dual ratchet system that secures the mirror to your factory mirror. It has some rubber straps as well as some plastic sections on it that help secure it. more

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab, we're going to be doing a test fit as well as a quick installation of the K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors in a snap-on design for both the driver and the passenger side. Part number KS80900. Now here's what our K-Source towing mirrors look like installed on a vehicle. We've already gone ahead and installed one over here on the passenger side just so you could see what it'll look like. Now that you see what they look like installed on the vehicle, let's go ahead and move over to the driver's side. We'll show you how to put them on. Now before we begin our installation of the mirror, it's a good idea to take a wet paper towel and to clean off any dirt and debris that may be on the back side of the mirror here. This will keep the towing mirror and the factory mirror from rubbing against each other with that debris in there and potentially scratching the factory mirror. more

A few things to know about this is that this will fit mirrors from 4 1/2 inches to 11 1/2 inches tall. The mirror face dimensions are 7 3/4 inches tall by 5 1/8 inches wide. Constructed all from a black plastic housing that actually matches our truck. This is the back side of our mirror. more

Today, on our 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're going to install part number 10801 from CIPA. This is the Custom Towing Mirror. You can see how we can manually move our new towing mirror up and down, left to right, and you can move it diagonal, however you need to. It has a lot of tension on it, too, so it will stay in place. It doesn't affect the performance of our factory mirror, either. Now, we'll go ahead with the install. To start off our install, it's a good idea to clean off the surface of the mirror. more

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2003 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're going to be installing the long view custom towing mirrors. These mirrors come as a pair, one for the driver as well as one for the passenger side, part #CTM1500. As you can see with our custom towing mirrors installed, we have a much larger field of view behind the vehicle. Our custom towing mirror portion is fully adjustable up and down. It does have manual movements so it requires you to move it by hand. You'll see here with our towing mirror installed, we still have full range of motion with our factory mirror. The K-Source custom towing mirrors snap over the backs of your factory style side view mirrors and extends the sight lines out past the truck for your trailer.
